These earrings are based on the Nagbeshar nose-stud that is worn primarily within the Rana Tharu community, from the south-west of Nepal. Traditionally, the Nagbeshar is a nose-ring made from gold alloy or brass, with a red stone in the centre. Vintage coral has been used, and so shape and markings of the stone may vary slightly.
